About us
Our Story
Angelface Childcare is a small family run business made up of mother and daughter. Between us we have a combination of over 30 year's childcare experience. We started Angelface Childcare because we wanted to provide exciting and innovative care for our children in a 'Home away from Home" environment that presented plentiful opportunities for play, interaction and development.” For parents and carers, we try to provide as much flexibility possible for their childcare needs as well as extremely affordable rates to help accommodate parents or carers financial needs.
Celebrating diversity
Our child-centered approach promotes the development of creativity, individuality and self-confidence, whilst delivering the highest standards of care. Celebrating diversity and individuality is a key part of day to day. Our children come from a range of different cultures and each individual brings their unique qualities to our setting. This diversity encourages communication and builds relationships between children, whilst respecting their culture and celebrating the differences.
Staff and tutors
In addition to their qualifications and experience, our staff are chosen for their personalities and love for children. They encourage the children to participate in activities and are optimistic about their achievements. The team will ensure that they treat each other with kindness, consideration and respect. Our team is approachable and friendly and strives to provide the best possible care for your children. and are positive about the children’s achievements.

As a nursery and preschool, we are committed to supporting the ongoing professional development of our staff through local courses, staff meetings, in-house training and recognised childcare qualifications. Through doing this, our team keep up to date with current thinking and developments in the industry, giving our children more enriched and positive learning experiences when they attend here.
Each child is assigned a key person who is responsible for the emotional well-being and development of a small group of children. This system allows the key person to understand your child's individual needs, build a special relationship with them, and give them a sense of security. We also operate an ‘open house system' whereby parents and carers can pop in anytime to discuss their child's developments or needs.

Safety
At Angelface Childcare, we take the security and safety of our children extremely seriously; our prime responsibility is the welfare and well-being of all children in our care.
All preschool visitors must present identification badges and sign in and out. We ask all our parents and carers to work with us by keeping our preschool safe by closing doors behind them and not letting anyone else in or out, even if that means closing the door on someone.
We also operate a strict collection policy and advise that all parents/carers present themselves to the staff, as any unauthorised person will be unable to collect a child without permission. A password system is also operated to provide extra security when alternative persons collect children from the preschool.
EYfs
The Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) sets standards for children's learning, development and care from birth to 5 years old. All Ofsted-registered early years providers must follow the EYFS.
The Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework supports an integrated early learning and care approach. It gives all professionals a set of common principles and commitments to deliver quality early education and childcare experiences to all children. We use observations and assessments to track your child’s development, and we aim to work in partnership with parents and outside agencies to promote the best learning outcome for the children.

Our team has a compassionate approach and understands the importance of following each child's needs. We strive to provide continual support and training to our staff through Inset days, individual training courses and regular staff supervision.
